How did the name come about? That is a question often asked. If you know the film industry, many projects develop, while only a few go into production. The Silk Wasp was the title of a feature length script that got shelved after another project took off in its place. The name had a punch to it. It was dissonant and felt fitting to describe the vision of Silk Wasp Media.
